This document describes the collection, use, and disclosure practices of the information that Autentique collects from users and about users who use autentique.com.br and other products that link to this Policy. By registering or using Autentique, the user agrees to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

I. What this Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the information collected:

  • In emails, text messages, and messages between Autentique and its users.
  • In interactions between users on the Autentique platform and website.
  • In interactions with ads on third-party applications and social media.
  • Provided by the user during registration or use of the platform, such as personal identification data and email address.
  • Collected by Autentique during document access and signing, such as IP address, device data, browser data, geolocation, and tracking cookies of signatories and document creators.
  • Through external integrations with storage services like Google Drive and Dropbox.

Autentique stores communications between the platform and users via email or support tools.

This privacy policy does not apply to data collected by:

  • Other websites and services operated by Autentique LLC beyond autentique.com.br or external services.
  • Any third-party service accessible through autentique.com.br.

II. Data Collected by Autentique

We collect several types of personal information about users and use this information internally in conjunction with our services to enable the creation of user profiles, contact with support, document signing, and user behavior analysis. Collected data includes information such as the date and time of access to Autentique, connection data, geolocation, the device used to access, and usage details.

Autentique is not responsible for the actions of companies and external websites related to Autentique services.

Information Collected:

  • Provided directly to us when you register for our service, such as email address, name, birthdate, and social media profiles.
  • Collected automatically when accessing Autentique, such as access time and date, IP address, browser, geolocation, cookies, and other tracking technologies.
  • From third parties, such as judicial process data, Receita Federal (Brazilian Federal Revenue Service).

Information Provided by the User

  • Information provided to fill out the registration or signing form, including email address, name, birthdate, and social media profiles.
  • Biometric verification data or proof of life (photo or multiple photos of the face) and document verification data (photo of identification documents) used in the document signing process that requires these signing modalities.
  • Correspondence data when you contact us, including email address and phone number.
  • Responses to satisfaction surveys or requests for features.

Autentique does not store payment data or billing address information. These details are solely stored by the payment gateway in accordance with PCI (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

Data Collected by Automated Mechanisms:

  • Access details to Autentique, including traffic data, geolocation, reports, and resources used in the application.
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including IP address, operating system, and browser.

We also use external tools that collect information about your activities on the platform, including behavior tracking.

The automatically collected information consists of statistical data that may contain personal data or be associated with personal data to:

  • Estimate audience size and usage patterns.
  • Store information about user preferences, allowing Autentique to offer a personalized experience.
  • Improve search and suggestions.
  • Recognize when the user returns to the platform.
  • Identify fraud.

Technologies used for data collection include cookies, beacons, tracking pixels, and IP address tracking.

Third-party Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies:

Some services offered by Autentique use third-party tools that may use cookies for user tracking. Autentique does not control these external services or how data is used.

Payment information and billing addresses are controlled by an external payment service. Autentique does not store any credit card number, billing address, or payment data.

III. How We Use Your Information

By providing your email address, you agree to receive content and communications related to the use of Autentique, including signing notifications, billing notices, support messages, satisfaction surveys, and promotions.

After the closure or deactivation of your account, Autentique reserves the right to store your data for a reasonable period of time to ensure the integrity and authorship of the documents created and signed by you.

We use the collected data for:

  • Displaying website data to you.
  • Analyzing service usage, diagnosing technical issues, implementing security measures, and personalizing content.
  • Notifying you about platform occurrences and documents.
  • Operating and maintaining platform functionalities.
  • Training machine learning and artificial intelligence models.
  • Fulfilling obligations assumed by the user through payment platforms used by Autentique.

We use cookies and store logs to: (a) remember your information; (b) offer personalized content and experience; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our service; (d) monitor metrics such as the number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns; (e) diagnose problems associated or not with IP addresses; (f) assist you in accessing data; (i) improve the security of services provided by Autentique.

Autentique does not use your information obtained from external sources, such as OAuth login, Google Drive integration, or other file storage systems, for training machine learning or artificial intelligence models.

We may use your data in partnership with advertising services to offer targeted ads on third-party pages. By clicking or interacting with the ad, it will be assumed that you match the ad's criteria.

IV. Who We Share Your Data With

Autentique uses some third-party tools (such as Google Analytics) that may have access to some of your data. They include:

  • Statuspage: Used to monitor and notify about the availability of Autentique services. If you requested to receive notifications about downtime and other events, Statuspage will have access to your email to send notifications.   • Stripe: Another payment system used by Autentique for billing paid plans and international customers. We analyze the privacy policy of all services used by Autentique to ensure they are reputable and have a history of respecting data privacy.

V. Social Media Plugins

We integrate with social media “plugins,” including Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, and possibly others. When you create an account on Autentique, you can link it to your profiles on these social networks.

VI. Retention and Protection of Your Information

Even after the closure of your accounts, we will maintain your profile information and other data used in the application confidentially and in accordance with the law and this Privacy Policy. Even if you request account deletion, some data necessary for auditing the documents you signed or sent for signing may still be retained. In such cases, the account will be blocked to prevent access, removed from all user listings, and prevented from receiving email notifications or any other form of contact. However, the audit data related to the signatures will remain stored in Autentique for potential auditing, expert analysis, and other legal purposes.

We cannot use this information for any purpose other than auditing the documents and signatures or maintaining the integrity of the system.

Autentique does not collect sensitive data from user accounts nor process sensitive data that may be contained in the documents sent to the platform. All files and support information containing sensitive data are encrypted both in transit and at rest to protect confidentiality and can be deleted at any time upon request or if they lose relevance and need for retention. However, data covered by Autentique's retention policy and legal obligations related to signature records will be retained.

VII. Deletion of Your Account and Personal Data

You can request the deletion of your account or personal data at any time directly with our support team or at hello@autentique.com.br. The deletion process will remove all data associated with you and your account that are not covered by Autentique’s data retention policy or strictly necessary for auditing the signatures you performed. Note that in some cases, Autentique may be legally required to retain some access and/or connection data. These data will be stored for the period required by law.

VIII. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We are constantly working to improve our services, so we may need to update this policy from time to time, and we will inform you of changes by posting notices on our website, in the application, or notifying you via email.
